We work  with producer organisations, companies, institutional donors, and researchers to create and measure projects that deliver impact. Here are some highlights.

Project

Empowering Youth in India

Launched in October 2025 and running through 2028 with funding from commercial partner Julius Meinl, this project aims to build the skills base of 230 young farmers – including women – on climate-resilient practices and income diversification across India's key coffee-growing regions.

This baseline study aims to estimate the carbon footprint of cocoa production in a sample of Fairtrade certified cooperatives in West Africa.

Brewing a Fair Future with Sustainable Coffee

This project works with six Fairtrade certified coffee cooperatives to improve sustainable farm productivity, diversify incomes, include young people, and strengthen traceability, among other things.

Strengthening youth participation in coffee

This project aims to strengthen the rights, livelihoods, and participation of about 500 young farmers (age 15–35) in Fairtrade certified coffee cooperatives in Uganda. It is funded by the Swedish Postcode lottery and implemented by Fairtrade Sweden and Fairtrade Africa.
