Fairtrade is the most recognised and trusted ethical label internationally. That's partly because we are transparent about what we do, and the benefits Fairtrade brings for farmers, workers, shoppers, businesses, and communities.
Our Impact Platform includes three interactive components that detail Fairtrade’s reach and impact: the Impact Map, the Data Dashboard, and in-depth Product Dashboards (for bananas, coffee, and cocoa).
Fairtrade projects drive impact around the world
As of mid-2025, nearly 100 projects are showcased on the Fairtrade Impact Map — offering a window into the diverse ways we work with farmers and workers to create lasting change.
Since launching our programmatic approach, Fairtrade has implemented around 225 projects, many of which span multiple countries, products, and thematic areas such as climate resilience, gender equality, market access, and improved incomes and wages. Projects allow us to go beyond our Standards and deepen our impact in close partnership with producer organisations.
Each project is guided by our outcome-based programmatic approach and can be funded by companies, governments, or other partners, often co-funded by other Fairtrade organisations.

Fairtrade commissioned studies help us understand our impact
The Impact Map also features our commissioned studies around the world, both completed and in progress. We showcase our commissioned studies so that users can easily understand what the research is saying about our work. As of mid-2025, 50 studies are hosted on the Map. You can find some studies hosted on the Fairtrade Library.
